King police have a Cascade Court resident after they said they discovered a marijuana grow operation in his home.

Grant Matthew Coy, 45, of Cascade Court, has been charged with possession of stolen goods and manufacturing a controlled substance.

King Police Chief Paula May said the arrest came after police investigating suspicious activity at the Cascade Court residence on Aug. 16, discovered an indoor grow operation.

“A number of marijuana plants were seized, smoking pipes, as were a firearm, and other items, including growing implements such as various lighting equipment,” said May. She said police are waiting on information from the crime lab before releasing the exact amount of marijuana seized, but noted that the equipment used was very large. “In addition, a stolen bicycle and bicycle parts were recovered, which had been stolen a few days earlier on Horseshoe Drive in King.”
