The Chestnut Grove Civitan Club’s Summer Jam on Saturday, Aug. 22, was a great success. Community fellowship, great food, music, exciting raffle prizes, and classic cars combined to create a perfect summer evening of entertainment that generated over $2,000 to be donated to the American Cancer Society. The Civitan Club members would like to express their appreciation to the many area businesses and citizens that generously donated supplies and prizes to make this event possible.
