Afghans for Christmas

For the past year Sheila Wilson, of Germanton, has spent her spare time crocheting lap Afghans for all the residents at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living so each resident has one. On Dec. 15, she delivered 56 Afghans. When asked why she does this her reply was, “My late Grandma Maude Voss taught me how to quilt and my other Grandma Mildred Smith, who is 97, taught me how to crochet and its all about giving to others.”
