Four Winston-Salem teenagers are facing charges in connection to a recent home invasion in Walnut Cove and break-in in the the Tobaccoville area, according to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office.

Captain T.W. Sands said the first incident occurred on Nov. 23 when deputies were dispatched to a home in the Walnut Cove area in response to a home invasion.

He said the home owner told deputies three black men had busted a window and entered his home where they came face to face with the homeowner before fleeing the scene. The home owner was not injured in the incident.

Sands said detectives were able to link that incident with a Nov. 28 break-in in the Tobaccoville area of Stokes County. He said in that incident the home owners returned home to find their house broken into and guns, money and electronics missing from the home.

“I want the people of Stokes County to know that we work hard for and will continue to fight for our victims of this great county,” said Sheriff Mike Marshall. “I also want to thank Winston Salem Police Dept. for their assistance in this case and our Deputies for the job they do.”
