Introducing you to Stokes County artist Zach McCraw….

“I am a toymaker. Whether I paint, sew, write, sculpt, draw, work with wood, or perform: everything I make plays its own game. My work is a reflection of the joy of dreaming, day or night. I am self-taught and think of my work as a folk art. I make poetic things, playful things, mysterious things, colorful things, simple things, flamboyant things, gentle things, and useless, eccentric things — toys.”

Viewing of this exhibit and the opening reception are free to the public. The Stokes County Arts Council and Apple Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information about this exhibit please contact the Stokes County Arts Council at (336) 593-8159 or visit us at www.stokesarts.org.
