One School Board candidate and two Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor candidates have already filed for the fall election.
Becky Boles is seeking re-election to the School Board and Michael Booth and Levi Ashby are seeking seats as Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor.
Three seats currently held by Boles, Sonya Cox and Bill Hart are open on the School Board, with the top two vote getters being elected to a four year term and the third highest vote getter being elected for a two year term.
One seat, currently held by Willis Overby, is open for Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor. The winner of that contest will elected for a four year term.
Filing for the School Board will end on July 29 at noon and filing for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor ends on July 1.
There’s no primary election for these contests.
