Last week the King Chamber of Commerce celebrated the joining of two local businesses with two ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Pam and John Seat opened Hoarders Boutique in King in April 2012, one year later they moved to a larger location in the Lowes Food Shopping Center and stayed in that location for three years. Hoarders carries new items, antique items, and refurbished furniture.

In June of 2015 the Seats opened The Powerhouse Training Facility. Their goal was to bring affordable training for all ages to the community and surrounding areas. Powerhouse today continues to grow and add other things to involve as many people as we can.

The Seats thought bringing both business’s together would be the right business decision. Giving Hoarders room to grow and allowing Powerhouse to benefit from the traffic that Hoarders brings in and vice versa. This also allowed them to be at both locations at the same time.

On Friday June 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. everyone is invited to an open house for both Powerhouse and Hoarders Boutique. There will be hot dogs, giveaways, sales, tours and free assessments.
