RiverStreet Networks will be working in King

Wilkes Communications (DBA) RiverStreet Networks is in the process of engineering a fiber optic network ring along certain roads throughout Stokes County. This network will provide fiber optic services to business and residential customers along the selected routes. RiverStreet Networks has already completed the engineering process in Danbury which consists of 65 miles of fiber optic cable.

The next area of Stokes that RiverStreet Networks will focus on is King. The engineering process has already begun with a preliminary design on paper. The next step is to lay the design out in the community. RiverStreet Networks will have engineers working along selected roads throughout King to determine the best location to place cable and facilities for the network. This will include locating existing infrastructure that is already in place along these roads. RiverStreet Networks will be in and around the town of King over the next couple of months working on this project.
