It was an evening of family, fun and fireworks at Lions Park in Walnut Cove Sunday night. The community kept their Fourth of July traditions alive with featured music and concessions sold by the Lions Club. The evening was capped off by a stunning display of fireworks at dusk.

The following day, King held their own stunning lightshow when fireworks were shot off from Recreation Acres. The event drew a large crowd with residents setting up chairs down the sidewalks of Main Street and throughout the town.
