Samuel Brown Named Assistant Principal for Cooleemee Elementary School


Samuel Brown has been named the new Assistant Principal for Cooleemee Elementary School in Davie County. Samuel is a native of Stokes County and taught English at Stokes Early College since its opening seven years ago. Mr. Brown was also the Curriculum and Instructional Representative, ACT Testing Coordinator, Testing Accommodations Coordinator at Stokes Early College. He served on the Schools Improvement Team and also the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support Teams. And the head of the year book committee. Mr. Brown was very active in coordinating the beginning of the year’s convocation for Stokes Early College and coordinating their senior graduation each year.

Mr. Brown is a graduate of West Stokes High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UNCG and is completing his Masters in School Administration at Appalachian State. He is the son of Allan and Elizabeth Brown, brother to Sarah Brown, grandson to Sam and Mozelle Johnson and husband and best friend to Katie Sells Brown.
