Asbury Evangelical Presbyterian Church is having a Christmas play Sunday, December 20, at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served afterward.

Francisco Presbyterian Church is having a Christmas play Sunday, December 20, at 7:00 pm. Refreshments will follow. They will also have a “Christmas Eve-Eve” service Wednesday, December 23, at 7:00 pm.

On the Move Exercise classes are set to begin Tuesday, January 4, at the Piney Grove Middle School Cafeteria. Exercise instructor and personal trainer, Sharon McGeeney, says she looking forward to a great turn-out. We all have extra holiday pounds and this will be a perfect opportunity to shed these and have fun doing it! For more information, call Sharon at 336-325-0497.

The Stokes County Cooperative Extension office will be having a Master Gardeners’ Class starting Friday, January 15, at the Francisco Community Building. The class will run from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm every Friday for 16 weeks. The cost is $65.00 if you use the online book or an additional $40.00 if you choose to purchase a hardcover book.
