The “Our Communities” initiative group and friends had a meeting Sunday afternoon at the Francisco Community Building. This was the first meeting since the Stokes County Board of Commissioners decision to temporarily take possession of the now vacant Francisco Elementary School. Texie Jessup, one of the organizers of the meeting, said the meeting went well and good ideas were voiced by those in attendance. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 21, at the community building.
