Vacation Bible School will begin at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Sunday, night June 21 and continue through June 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 each night for age’s nursery through youth. All children in that age group will be welcome.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Lynwood Shelton who died Wednesday June 10 in Pioneer Hospital in Danbury.

East Stokes Outreach Ministry is holding fishing for food tournament Saturday, July 11 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Jim Booth’s Catfish Pond at 1114 Tilley Road in Walnut Cove. A $25 donation will include fishing, lunch, big fish entry and door prize entry. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd heaviest cat fish.
