Doris Joyce has returned home after having hip replacement surgery.

Happy Birthday to Helen Nelson on April 1st. Also, Happy Birthday to Tom Tilley and Jennie Weatherman.

Happy Anniversary to Jimmy and Karen Johnson! They celebrated their 25th anniversary on March 23rd.

As a reminder, the Rock House Ruritans are still having their turkey shoots every Saturday night with the doors opening at 5 PM. The shooting starts at 6 PM. Food is available with homemade desserts. It is good family fun.

There will be a Chili Cook-off and Benefit for Stephen Fagg on Saturday, April 9th from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Brown Mountain Church. Stephen is 36 years and is very sensitivity to light, sound, ad touch since January 2, 2015 making it difficult for him to function or be around anyone even his family. The sensitivity causes dizziness and pain. Tickets are available on a Stihl chainsaw, 1/2 carat diamond cluster ring, and a TV & Blu-Ray/ DVD player. Tickets can be purchased at G & B Energy and at the Rapid Lube in Pilot Mountain. Donations can be made to Stephen Fagg Benefit, Brown Mountain Church, PO Box 73, Westfield, NC 27053.
