A fundraiser yard sale will be held for the Sandy Ridge community building, Saturday, July 18. The building community are asking everyone in the community who will donate items of all kinds and baked goods to be sold at the yard sale for the upkeep of the building and monthly bills. Everything donated will be gratefully appreciated.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Gaily Rakestraw Stevens who died Sunday night June 14 at her home.

Vacation Bible School got underway Sunday night at Oak Ridge Baptist Church and will continue through Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. each night and commencement will be Friday night at 7 p.m. everyone will be welcome.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Rebecca Deathrage who died Saturday, June 13 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Stokes in Danbury.

Joyce Spencer was back at church Oak Ridge Baptist Church Sunday after being absent for a few months due to sickness.

The fish for food tournament that was planned to be held at Jim Booth Cat Fish Pond for East Stokes Outreach Ministry Saturday, July 11, has been canceled. For more information Marchelle Brown at 591-3237.

Woody Robertson was back at church Sunday after being out for a few Sundays due to sickness.

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Isbell and baby from Greenville, NC visited Gene and Kaye Isbell and Lena and Kenny Priddy Saturday.

Gary and Paula Watkins visited Josh and Lacy Watkins at Fort Bragg over the weekend.
