The Sandy Ridge Music Association welcomes Last Minute and Pressin’ On to Sandy Ridge Community Center on Saturday, August 13 beginning at 6:00 p. m. I started this event in June, 2013. I met Jackie Hawkins at one of the singings and he was very instrumental in helping to organize a committee and form the SRMA. He has since passed away and Willard Nelson and Lloyd Martin have resigned from the committee due to health issues. Presently, Barbara Spencer and I are the only ones on the committee. If you would like to join our committee or help to sponsor this event, please contact Barbara at 871-2170 or myself at 613-5315.

CITIZEN OF THE WEEK
I have known this lady for several years as the “book mobile lady.” My Mom, who was legally blind, would always look forward to her coming and bringing audio books. She would never go with me shopping or out to eat if her books were on the way.
Contact Carolyn Craig at 613-5315, or e-mail email@example.com, if you have Sandy Ridge news.
