Lady Panthers claim consecutive championship


The Piney Grove Middle School softball team has been dominating the field the past couple of years. During the 2016 season they had a total of 15 wins and 1 loss, including scrimmages. The girls worked hard and scored a total of 219 runs and allowed only 20. After losing to Pilot Mountain Middle early in the season, they played a great game at Pilot, beating the Ravens 8-2, which helped them secure a tie for conference champs. The last game of the season the Lady Panthers beat the Southeastern Warriors to break the tie and claim the title. Congratulations to back to back Foothills Middle School Softball Conference Champions.
